CAG Issues:
The CAG will be meeting on the third Monday of every month. Next meeting is April 19th at 6 pm—likely will be at SVSU but nothing is set in stone. EPA did not publicly announce the last meeting, it was an oversight, but will be sure to do so in the future. To date we have had two meetings, one being of a meet and greet nature, the last an official meeting. Both times there were a number of people missing. Read more »
The first official meeting of the CAG took place on the Ides of March (15th). This after a retreat of sorts the previous month. We will be creating a location on this site as a repository for CAG information. And for commentary as needed. Read more »
A local Vietnam Veteran asked if this website could be posted.
He, like many Vietnam veterans, was exposed to dioxin contaminated agent orange that was sprayed on the jungles and people of Vietnam. Also like many veterans he suffers with diabetes, cancer and a rash that never really goes away. He’s very ill from exposure to Dow and Monsanto’s dioxin contaminated chemicals.
At long last, the videos of the Dr. deFur presentation from Delta College are up and available.
Due to the length of meeting, the original video has been broken into five files. Dr deFur, held a public meeting at Delta College on December 15 2009. Sponsored by Lone Tree Council and Tittabawassee River Watch, Dr deFur expounded on the toxicity of dioxin and the many ways EPA could improve the Administrative Order on Consent with Dow Chemical.
